Yanchep National Park

Woke up to a really chilly morning, and had the same thing we had for dinner, for our breakfast.

One big mistake we made, was that we left the camera and video camera in the car, and they malfunctioned when we tried to use them in the morning.

We visited the Koala Broadwalk and took some pictures, just when a group of tourist, making loads of noise, came by.

Went back towards the motel unit and went to Loch McNess.

The water was still, and it was absolutely picturisque.

Went back to our room, packed up, and checked ourselves out of Yanchep Inn, Now operating under Comfort Inn.

We went over to the park office and got ourselves the tickets for the 10 o’clock guided tour.

Apparantly we are the only 2 for the time slot, and we have the guide all to our own!

Yanchep National Park

We reached Yanchep Inn, Yanchep Nationa Park at about 4pm.

A bunch of roos was right outside the lawn and they don’t seem to be scared to humans.

Checked in, paid $85 for the motel unit, and went straight to Crystal Caves.

When we reached, we walk around, trying to find the cave, thinking that it cnanot be that close to the shed.

Anyway, we finally realised that the entrance to the cave is just next to the shed, locked by a really low gate. And the tour cost $6.50 per person. So we will head for this the first thing in the morning the next day.

Tickets can be obtained from the park office, first left turn at the round about after passing the park’s main entrance.

Oh, entering the park cost $10.

Yanchep

Seeing that we still have time before sunset, we went to Yanchep beach to look around, before we head back to our motel unit.

Thereafter, we went back to the motel unit, and cooked the Turkey SPAM with the army mess tin and solid fuel, and had it together with the cheap cheap lattice and tomatoes we bought from Wannaroo market. Drown in down with coffee and tea, and slept.

Oh, I forgot to mention that heated blanket is provided in the unit, but the main door is leaking too much cold air in, with the wind gusting away outside.

Stuffed the seams with toilet paper, and that took care of that.
